Actually, the Scarecrow ruled oz for a while when the wizard left. Before Ozma came back. It was briefty mentionned in the “flashback”. We’ll develop it more though.
Im so glad the scarecrow isn’t as boastful as he was in the books. Used to get on my nerves as a kid.
I am loving this comic and how much research was done for it. I used to read the oz books all the time until mine fell apart.
Um… is it just me or does old Scarecrow, seem a bit SENILE to anyone else, with his talk about needing to try and ‘remember’ which Dorothy Emma is? *lol*
And now we find Ozma, yay she wasn’t the crabby shoes. The scarecrow was always my favourite in the movie.
He’s awesome in all versions of oz.
oh scarecrow! poor scarecrow! (i’m sorry i got really upset when i saw scarecrow in this state)
Someone really doesn’t want people going through there – first the poppies, then these vines…
I want to say Ozma = Scarecrow, but for some reason I fear that I’m wrong.

He IS Ozma’s good friend though.
I love the Scarecrow’s confused look in panel five. It’s just wonderful.

Uhm, I hate to be picky, but isn’t it “ensnare”? You wrote “ensare” in the last panel :3
Great comic by the way! I started reading about half an hour ago and only reluctantly stopped to be a know-it-all^^
Keep up the good work!
