I was gonna say. That’s a hell of a face for standing in your enemy’s storage room, Fred.
Also, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a Namesake page split into this many scenes. Trippy!
Lewts! All the lewts!!
Lewts? F! EPIC LEWTS!
Ina Liddell?? Where is she?
I assumed the woman in the ponytail and mouth mask was Ina, but then I went back to the last page showing her and Ina isn’t tagged.
I… I have no idea where she’s supposed to be.
Paranoia starts here.
I thought it was Banshee?
Banshee’s a brunette, and we last saw her talking to Nose: http://namesakecomic.com/comic/nervous-nose/
To be technical, we did see her the very next page, too, as Emma and Nose left her to go to dinner.
So is the person in panel four, which is the one I think LizzywithaWhy meant. Fish has a gag, not a mouth mask.
Oh. Right. And Fish doesn’t have a ponytail, which LizzywithaWhy also mentioned.
I don’t think it’s Banshee; her hair is black. The technician’s hair is lighter, closer to Emma’s… or Ina’s. Ina didn’t have it in a ponytail the last time we saw her, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
This was my error. The original script called for Ina to be in this scene, but we needed her to be elsewhere, so this is just generic medical drone.
Oho, I wonder where Ina had to be? Perhaps she will pose an obstacle in Daniel’s way of getting the sword???
We last saw Ina back in Chapter 16, talking to One about how he’ll keep control of Nose: http://namesakecomic.com/comic/noses-name/
(Which is particularly relevant to recent events, now that I think of it.)
Error in the tags.
May I ask a favor? Could the Djinn be tagged with zer name? I can’t recall how to spell such a long unfamiliar name. I love the look on zer face, as ze asks for another story; but I do worry a bit about what Fish might buy with it.
Fred would be *so* useful on Black Friday! May I borrow him?
Is Emma back in the place of lost things?
The background of the panel appears to have a ‘pond’ of scrolls, plus she has the mask on. The ghost usually is seen in a dream, flashback, or in-between place. So I’m betting heavily on Scarecrow.
“Hello again my dear.” Scarecrow?
Or ghost. Taking bets now folks!
I was going to say at first that the “my dear” plus the look on her face suggested Scarecrow, which it might still be… But, she also became less afraid of ghost last time, and ghost could be using the term “my dear” as a power phrase villains sometimes use to belittle their opponents. Since I have to choose a side, I’d ‘rather see’ scarecrow come back : ).
My first impression was that it was Nose talking in that last panel.
Nose can get into that scroll space as well, since that’s where he put the mask
Emma’s wearing on her. And he is clearly up to something if the last few comics are anything to go by.
If I had a magical bag of holding, that’s exactly how I would ransack a villain’s hideout.
Except with more giggl- I mean maniacal laughter, right, that’s what I was going to say.
Does Djinn realize that Fish is gagged? Hard to tell stories that way.
Calliope Battle Tactics No. 1-7 involve Cheshire-style grinning, flashy magic and swords, and pointing over the enemy’s shoulder and saying “Oooh, what’s that?”
And now the next time Emma goes to a nightclub she’ll feel oddly sleepy.
LOL, look at how excited Fred is to be participating in the looting! He’s so adorable!
And why do I feel bad for Fish all of a sudden?
Hilariously, I was so eager to post my Scarecrow comment last night that I didn’t read the strip title. Did I actually guess the title last week, “Loot them blind,” when I posted another comment? Man that’s a little scary.
Fred looks so cute there!
Fish! Bargain with zer! Really fun hawt tiems in exchange for a story! …what do you mean you might not have a strong attraction to bishie androgynene djinn? >_>
(Meanwhile, Fred clearly thinks this is PAYBACK for messing with his Deck-siblings!)
Loot, loot, loot…lots of stuff whose present ownership is moot…
So in the dream-space, the mask is a physical object.
Take off the mask, Emma. TAKE OFF THE MASK.
Uh oh. If I were Fish be VERY worried and suspicious about the look the Djinn is giving her now that the others are gone. *lol* Especially when he’s asking about wanting to hear HER story. Does this mean he’s going to untie her so she can talk? *lol*
If Fish is the little mermaid, wouldn’t that mean talking about her origin story would kill her? (About anything else, she seems to talk without problems)
You know, that almost reminds me of Warrick’s bag, the one he uses to hold the books…..he said it was based on “Dorthy magic”! What if Warrick’s bag is a version of the one Calliope has?
I don’t want to sound as stickler, but … this page lack chapter. Ticky box didn’t get ticked?
In fact, chapter is missing on three pages starting with this one.
Ticky box has now been ticked! Thanks!
I’m surprised again how quick can you react. Thanks!
