I was sitting there going “awwww” and then… Warrick killed it. Ah well… it made me laugh. And Emma being all flustered with him smiling was rather funny.
Kissing(and other stuff) would be a problem for Warrick with his allergy to water. Bits would melt off.

I like how Emma has finally made an impression on the locals – on Jinjur and her army no less! Even Warrick is warming up to her. (BTW: Warrick handled Emma’s ‘incident’ on the previous panel very gentlemanly.)
Oh, and it seems odd that you girls did not expect the Warrick and Emma shipping to be so strong, considering how you have these little gestures such as Warrick’s behavior on this page to encourage it. ^_^

Why do I have an incredibly sinking feeling that Warrick and Ozma ARE going to reunite and it’s either
a) going to be mushy, even though we haven’t previously seen a sign that Ozma has romantic feelings for Warrick
b) going to be tragic, and Emma will not be able to comfort him and Warrick will be back to being grumpy and heartless-by-choice
Probably because Isa said she’s trying to deter us from hating her in a couple pages. Which pretty much means either mushy Warrick and Ozma (NOOOO) or something tragic-ish happening to one of the characters. But considering this was about shipping, I’m gonna go with the former. Grr.

Kidding aside… Isameg is staying true to Sabion’s character. She is a woman of action. We can see her & Jinjur dealing with the aftermath of the Battle for Emerald City. That is something I value in a story. I don’t like final scenes where the hero(s) pose against the sunset as the music swells.
There are fires to put out, wounded to tend, food and shelter for the refugees. And you did not disappoint!
