*siiiigh* I swear, this group is the sulkiest group I’ve ever met. Suck up your pride, Warrick and apologize to your sister. She may be able to get you out of this mess.

Maybe if they weren’t so sulky, they would be more functional.

But…but…if they were more functional we wouldn’t have the cute, angsty comedy that we’ve been getting! (Only being half-sarcastic here…)

Oh how I love the “there’s no way you will make me do that” gag. It’s nice we may be hearing again fro Selva soon.

Leaves flying, inchworms and ants screaming and running for cover — priceless. :D

She’s intense. I’d hate to be on her bad side.

Am I the only one who wonders if they took Anlise away or not? I mean I do not see her in any of these panels…

Also, how can Warrick NOT admit he has something to apologize for? He left her one day, bleeding, to find a cure and was away for a long time. Then, when he finally appeared (she thought he was dead), he lost his temper and HIT HER! And to top it all off Warrick ended up the Wicked Warlock and her sister was jealous of his position and power. For that matter, he let his Ozma-worship get between them.

BTW: When Selva transforms back, she could totally reverse Hercilia’s transformation too (it was Selva’s spell). That’s two powerful witches/sidekicks for the price of one. :D

Also, Warrick’s heart sacrifice (apparently) inadvertently affected Selva’s heart as well. (They’re twins, so it makes some sense. Especially since they were both created from the same piece of Tin Man’s heart.) That’s probably why Selva became as wicked and heartless as Warrick. Even if it was an unintended side effect, shouldn’t Warrick apologize for that, too?

They even tied up the Scarecrow? Why?… These mask-people make so little sense.

He’d have untied the others. They had to tie him up there, or tie him up and take him with them.

Actually, no. They did not have to tie him up at all. Scarecrow is supposedly a respected figure in Oz, if I’m not mistaken, and the queen called him an “old friend”. That’s no way to treat old friends.
Also, he did not really join the argument earlier. (Which was a pity since he had the most chance of arguing on behalf of Emma and the others.)

Isn’t Dorothy a respected figure in Oz, too? Maybe they partly tied him up so he wouldn’t get hurt.

And yet, do you really imagine that Scarecrow would’ve allowed Warrick and the others to be tied up and left there without protesting, or that he would have left willingly with the Guard with all of them stuck there?

Maybe, maybe not. He never said anything, sadly. The Guard’s reasoning was shaky at best, but further discussion from a respected party (ie. the Scarecrow) could have shed some light on the subject. But no, it seems “tie people up first, discuss later” is the Guard’s way of doing things here.

Considering the ladies’ tendancy to cut away at moments like this, we may soon find out.

That, and they did say we’d be going back to real world in Chapter 8. And since it’s both Chapter 8, and today’s page makes for a lovely cliffhanger… I’d wager we’ll be seeing Elaine and all them sooner than we think.

Le fait que Hercilia s’interrompe au milieu de sa phrase n’indique pas une bouderie, mais plutôt une perte de parole…

I was wondering why the purse couldn’t seem to talk, since the shoes can. I guess this finally explains it – she just didn’t want to.
So… does this mean they did tell the Scarecrow about Selva? I thought they were hiding it from him. (unless he’s sulking, too, and too busy to pay attention)

Wait, did Hercilla… MOVE? *LOL* I guess since she was on Emma’s feet all this time, she couldn’t really move on her own. but now she’s off. in the panel where she was ranting at how STUPID Emma had been she BOTH of the shoes had been facing the gang, but when she stopped talking one of the shoes now had its ‘back’ towads them while it sulked while not looking at them. *lol*

If Selva’s been silent all this time because she was SULKING, when she could have been talking/ranting at Emma the whole time. *lol* Though I guess after hearing what REALLY happened to her baby brother all those years when he disappeared for who knows how long only to return with no heartbeat, and talking crazy talk… then attacking her in anger… I would think she’d be talking by now. *lol*
