Welcome to chapter 4! There will be some slight changes in the comic starting with next Tuesday’s update that I’ve outlined in the blog entry below. If you get a chance, please read it and provide feedback!
Just a note… You mentioned having a store? I would totally buy a print of this (as long as it didn’t cost an arm and a leg and didn’t have the “Chapter 4″ text on it)
Absolutely gorgeous
We don’t currently have a store, but we are preparing it. Prints of the chapter pages would definitely be something we could include in there. I’m glad to hear this idea is interesting to readers! Thanks for the feedback. We’ll keep working on the store and we’ll let you guys know as soon as it’s ready!
I was initially disappointed to see that today was a Chapter cover page, then excited all over again when I saw how beautiful it was. I read a conventional print comic last week (my first in years) and there is more style and imagination in this one page than there was between that hand-painted but thoroughly uninteresting hard cover.
Many thanks! I always put extra work in the covers to make them beautiful. I want people to feel, like you do, that the cover is a worthy, narrative and eye-pleasing update.
It’s sad that the firth comic you read in years was so disapointing. If may, I would like to suggest the recent Marvel “Oz” comics (where Baum’s books are adapted into gorgeous comics) or perhaps “Sky doll” by Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, or even the “Bone” series by Jeff Smith. These comics are very impressive in their art styles and storytelling.
This is an epic cover if I do say so myself! =D
It is! i’m quite proud of it!
ooohh pretty
Nothing quite like flowly dresses and luscious hair.
she’s like Calliope (Sandman version) only black haired!
Nice.

very striking. My favorite page you’ve made yet.
Many thanks!
Lovely cover, but is that Zombie Undead Ozma with Tentacle Hair?
Somedays I’m just here for the pretth!
Oooh, lovely. I’m looking forward to more…but where is the blog entry mentioned in the caption? I can’t seem to find it! *headskritch*
Go to http://www.namesakecomic.com and scroll down. It’s the blog entry I made on the bottom right.
Lovely art =) It’s like Mucha, Tim Burton, and Arthur Rackham all rolled into one.
That cover is brilliant!
