on August 27, 2011 at 12:00 amWe’re having a blast here at FanExpo Canada! Hello to all the new readers from the con, and if you’re in the Toronto area, please come by and visit us! We’re at table A106 in Artist Alley today and tomorrow with the lovely Adriana Blake of “Fall on Me.”
I got the single-issue Namesake comics in as we were leaving for the con, and they turned out great! Isa and I will be signing the pre-orders in our spare time so I can get them sent out this week.
Well it seems that pesky language barrier business doesn’t apply anymore. (The card’s face in that 4th panel, it’s so cute)
And, you guys are awesome for that Portal reference, completely amazing.
Why am I not surprised AT ALL that Ben refferenced Portal?

Aww, the card is incongruously adorable. More adorable than any animal thing that’s come along so far, which is kind of a rarity in comics.

I can’t speak to how nerdy saying that or debating it will be, but I have to disagree. He’s lacking in the chin wrinkles and over all frowny-face/angry expression and the large pointed ears, or at least, his helmet would be very uncomfortable to wear with them…
