Nice and scary! XD Looking foreword to the rest. The nosebleed thing reminds me of the Butterfly Effect, in which every time this guy changes time, his brain is forced to register the additional life, which causes his brain to literally get bigger. Which is not good. o.o hope this isn’t a similar situation. That would be bad

I just started following your comic from a link through buttersafe. Thanks for the excellent work! Literature, comics and creepy apparitions are a great way to keep my attention! I’m sure to be a regular reader.

I sure hope she means, “I need you to look around for me”, not “Excuse me while I just take yours and put them in for a few. I promise, I’ll give them right back when I’m done.”
On another note, I had a friend in the 3rd grade with a glass eye (an accident with his older brother and a bow and arrow… yeah). He let me see the socket once.
Still gives me shivers, 40 years later. No blood, but you’ve really captured the effect.

I’ve seen empty sockets one myself. Tried to convey that feeling of “EWWWUGH”.

I can’t really answer that. But those ghost really do look similar….
“What? This IS a time to be sleeping, then. You can borrow my eyes all you want when I’m sleeping, but I’ll need them back as soon as I wake up.”
I’m presuming that those who aren’t used to wielding magic (like becoming a Namesake and crossing over without warning, then getting into a battle with a witch and winning by pure force of luck) get the nosebleeds, kinda like Charlie McGee’s dad used to get them from overusing his psi powers.
Something like that.
Wait… is that the ghost-Karen we saw in “Run”? Either way, that thing is creepy as hell.

Whoa. This isn’t good. I know I keep saying that, but dammnn you ladies keep dragging us deeper into the rabbit hole. I don’t think this is Karen, last we saw she had both eyes. That and her body burned so I think she’d look worse. So i’m wondering who this is.
Mystery ghost? Karen decomposing? Emma going mad? All bets are open!
I know who I’m gonna call, and they’ll have that thing in a ghost trap STAT!
